Due to the unique combination of the strengths of a research center and a university that is unique in Germany, teaching at the KIT is particularly focused on current research questions. This creates ideal study conditions and offers students the opportunity to participate in exciting research projects at a very early stage and to gain unique experience.

The KIT Foundation's Thematic Fund Teaching & Students supports students in many ways and contributes to improving the general conditions for students through its projects and support measures. The KIT Foundation pays special attention to the support of students with particularly challenging life situations, e.g. single parents with children.
